3. Konunun belli sorular çerçevesinde tek tek ele alınması

4. Herkese eşit söz hakkı sağlanması

5. Karşı görüşlerin hoşgörü ile karşılanması

6. Herkese eşit sürenin verilmesi

7. Grup üyelerini ilgilendiren ortak sorunu veya gereksinimi içermeli

8. Tartışmaya katılanlar konu hakkında bilgi sahibi olmalı

9. Tartışma konusu açık olarak belirlenmiş ve her üye tarafından anlaşılmış olmalı
10. Farklı görüşlere açık olmalıdır
